Sydney, Australia is one of the most unique and beautiful cities in the world. Have you ever been there?

Sydney is one of many places everyone should try to visit during their lifetime. So far, I have not made it there, but expect to someday. In future posts, I will share some reasons why Sydney is so unique and special.

Up from the brink of disaster: The Cubs used to be 9 games under .500, and… …heading into yet another long, hot, summer as a losing team.

• • On 06/29/07 The 2007 Chicago Cubs Miracle became a part of local sports history.
  • On that wild day the Cubs won their seventh game in a row and it was one of the most dramatic victories ever seen in beautiful Wrigley Field.
  • Falling behind 5 - 0 in the first inning would leave most baseball teams unable to come back.
  • Well, 5 - 2 was an improvement
  • 5 - 3 is better…
  • Then 5 - 4 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning; It looks like another close game where the local favorites come up just one run short.

  • Aramis R comes to bat as the Cubs final hope.
  • To simply say he hit a home run to win the game does not begin to describe the way the whole team celebrated the victory.
  • The joyous pack of excited athletes looked like they had just won the World Series.
